Jamie Strachan

Jamie Strachan has a diverse and extensive work experience. Jamie is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Nabaco®, a leading company in natural smart coatings. Jamie's role involves overseeing the revolutionary technology that enables coatings to self-assemble, creating semi-permeable gas and moisture barriers on targeted substrates.

Prior to their current position, Jamie worked as an Advisor & Board Director in the freelance sector starting from 2019. Jamie provided valuable guidance and expertise to various organizations during this period.

From 2006 to 2019, Jamie was the CEO & Board Director at Green Giant Fresh, where they led a NextGen healthful foods company and was a market leader in fresh and frozen vegetables. Jamie successfully managed multiple departments and 1000+ employees, with responsibility for a $300M+ annual business. Jamie also spearheaded the acquisition and consolidation of seven companies and implemented various integrated systems and tools to streamline operations.

In 2007, Jamie founded the California LGMA and served as its Chairman until 2017. During this time, they played a crucial role in implementing food safety programs and hosting influential officials from the industry and government.

Jamie held the position of Executive Chairman at Pacific Claims Management (2008-2016) and Chairman at Pacific Insurance Company (2003-2016), where they provided strategic leadership and expertise.

As an Investor and Board Director at Foodlink (2008-2013), Jamie was involved in the development and management of a leading cloud software and b2b transactions company that connected the perishable goods supply chain.

Additionally, Jamie served on the Board of Directors at Vegetable Growers Supply (2006-2010) and held the position of Founder and Vice President of Planning & Development at COLO.COM (1997-2001).

Jamie Strachan attended Santa Barbara City College from an unknown start year to 1994, where they earned an Associate's degree in Economics. They then went on to attend California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from an unknown start year to 1996, earning a Bachelor of Science degree with dual degrees in Marketing and Finance. Lastly, Jamie attended the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management from an unknown start year to 2009, where they studied Food Industry Management.
