Grégoire Retourné

Grégoire Retourné has held a variety of professional roles since 2018. In that year, they were an Officer in the French Navy, where they directed logistical tasks, planned port calls, and gave English and Math lessons to the crew. In 2019, they were an External Relations Officer at Kès des Élèves, where they organized corporate events and signed contracts with firms, accounting for 300K € of revenues. In 2020, they were a Data Scientist Intern at Reverso - Softissimo, where they designed a data pipeline used to enhance and increase a database of idioms and created a test set for a state-of-the-art reformulating model. In 2021, they were a Computer Vision Engineer and a Computer Vision Research Intern at Seaowl Group, where they optimized the deployment of computer vision models at the edge, designed a projection algorithm to map CV models detections to tracks in the drone's navigation system, and conducted a benchmark on state-of-the-art object detection architectures. Finally, in 2022, they are a Software Engineer and a Machine Learning Intern at Nabla, where they are focused on full-stack development and Natural Language Processing (NLP).

Grégoire Retourné attended Lycée Masséna from 2016 to 2018, where they studied Mathematics, Physics and Theoretical Computer Science. Grégoire then took a gap year at École Polytechnique, where they studied Applied Mathematics & Computer Science, from 2018 to 2022.
