Gregor Hagedorn

Sprecher Nabu-bundesfachausschuss Nachhaltigkeit at NABU e.V.

Gregor Hagedorn serves as a Senior Researcher and Akademischer Direktor at the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin, focusing on sustainable futures and leading the "Digital World" initiative, which enhances biodiversity informatics and digital citizen science projects. Hagedorn is also an Initiator at Scientists For Future, a member of the Klimaschutz and Energiewende committee at VDI, and a spokesperson for the NABU Bundesfachausschuss Nachhaltigkeit. As an expert for the European Commission, Hagedorn evaluates proposals and reviews projects related to FP7 and H2020. Previous roles include Head of biowikifarm operations at Plazi, mentor for the Open Science Fellow Program at Wikimedia Deutschland, and member of the Council for Scientific Information Infrastructures. Hagedorn's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Biodiversity Informatics from the University of Bayreuth and participation in the Noyce Leadership Institute.
