Angel B. Pérez has a diverse work experience, starting in 2007 as Vice President and Dean at Pitzer College. In 2008, they became a Course Instructor at the University of California, Los Angeles. In 2015, Pérez joined Trinity College-Hartford, where they held multiple roles, including Faculty in Educational Studies and VP for Enrollment & Student Success. Currently, they serve as the Chief Executive Officer at the National Association for College Admission Counseling.
Angel B. Pérez's education history begins with their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree earned in Government and Social Work from Skidmore College, which was obtained between the years 1994 and 1998. Following this, Pérez pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Higher Education at Columbia University from 2003 to 2005. They later completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Higher Education at Claremont Graduate University, graduating between 2009 and 2015. More recently, Pérez acquired a Certification in Higher Education Pedagogy from Harvard University's Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning, attending from 2017 to 2018.
