Joseph Asselmeier has extensive experience in IT auditing and project management, currently serving as an IT Senior Auditor at Hyster-Yale Group since October 2012, where responsibilities include performing internal IT audits and evaluating IT General Controls using the CobiT framework. In addition, Joseph has contributed to NACCO Material Handling Group, Inc. as a Senior IT Internal Auditor since November 2010 and held the position of Senior Project Lead in the Global IT PMO from 1996 to November 2010, focusing on aligning IT projects with business strategies in Sales and Marketing. Joseph began a career in the insurance industry at Continental Insurance Company, where roles included Vice President Claims Pricing and Vice President Claims. Joseph holds a BS in Psychology and Administration of Justice from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and has further education from Western Carolina University.
