Caleb B.

Caleb B. has a diverse work experience spanning from 2015 to 2019. In 2015, they began working as a Specialist at Apple, where they were responsible for in-depth product knowledge over a wide and ever-expanding inventory. Caleb was also in charge of the Apple Field Trips as part of the Community Outreach. In 2016, Caleb worked as a Teaching Assistant at The Iron Yard, Charleston and as a Frontend Developer at E4 Consults. At E4 Consults, they were responsible for developing ecommerce websites and designing interactive animations for custom user experiences. In 2017, Caleb joined Scoutside as a Technical Director, where they directly influenced the growth of clients by developing strategies for customer retention, market expansion, and efficient fulfillment practices. Caleb also built an engineering department from the ground up and oversaw a team of 7 across several disciplines. In 2019, Caleb joined Nacelle as an Engineering Lead. In this role, they led and grew a team of developers and collaborated cross-functionally across the organization. Caleb also adapted proven event driven technologies like Kafka and containerization with Kubernetes for reliability. Caleb also led projects for anonymous personalization, search and filter, product recommendations, and inventory streaming.

Caleb B. attended the College of Charleston from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Music Composition. In 2016, they completed a Full-time Immersive Program in Front-End Web Development at The Iron Yard.
