Dean Bushey

Dean Bushey is a highly experienced professional in the fields of sustainability, electric and alternative transportation, and autonomous systems. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant at the North American Council for Freight Efficiency and President of Dean Bushey Enterprises, Dean has previously held significant leadership roles, including Senior Vice President of Sustainability at TravelCenters of America, Vice President at Hitachi overseeing environmental business strategies, and General Manager of Autonomous and Connected Vehicles at Voyage. Dean’s academic credentials include a PhD and MS in Computer Science from Clemson University, as well as a BS in Computer Science from the United States Air Force Academy. Dean’s military background as a retired Colonel in the United States Air Force highlights a strong foundation in leadership and strategic operations, particularly in intelligence and unmanned systems.
