Dr. Kimberly Welsh currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent for Nacogdoches Independent School District since August 2023, following a tenure as a Ziglar Licensed Executive Coach and Speaker from March 2022 to August 2023. Prior to this, Dr. Welsh accumulated extensive experience in educational roles, including positions as a Professor at Stephen F. Austin State University from August 2005 to May 2021, and various administrative and teaching roles in school districts such as FORNEY ISD, Royse City ISD, and Commerce ISD. Dr. Welsh holds a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University-Commerce and multiple Master of Education degrees from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education.
