Katrena Moore

Katrena Moore is an experienced education professional with a background in discipline management, math intervention, and teaching. Currently serving as the Student Coordinator of Discipline for Nacogdoches Independent School District since August 2017, Katrena also holds roles as a teacher appraiser and PBIS Coordinator. Previously, Katrena contributed as an Assistant Principal and Math Interventionist, supporting math educators and providing interventions for students in grades PreK to 5. Early experience includes teaching 3rd Grade Math and Science at Lufkin and Nacogdoches Independent School Districts, and roles in customer service, event coordination, and volunteering. Katrena holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education from Baylor University.
