Jeff Lenard

Jeff Lenard has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and associations. Jeff currently serves as a Board Member for IN OUR BACKYARD, a role they started in January 2022. Prior to this, they were a Board Member for the National Safe Place Network starting in 2015. Lenard has a long history with the National Assocation of Convenience Stores (NACS), where they served as the VP of Strategic Industry Initiatives since November 1999. Jeff conducted numerous media interviews, appeared on various news programs, and provided media training and speech coaching. Other notable roles include Director of Marketing & Communications for the Petroleum Technology Transfer Council and Director of Communications for the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. Jeff'searly career includes a role as Director of Communications for ASME, where they were involved in developing internal and external communications strategies.

Jeff Lenard has a strong educational background with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing from Syracuse University, which they earned from 1984 to 1986. Prior to their postgraduate studies, Jeff obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where they studied from 1980 to 1984.
