Laura Beck

Laura Beck has a strong background in marketing and communications. Laura began their career in 2007 as a Sports Journalist Intern at League Level Marketing and Management LLC. Laura then worked as an Administrative/Development Assistant & Volunteer at Ronald McDonald House of Morgantown from 2004 to 2008. In 2008, they interned as an Account Services Intern at Giant Ideas and as a Marketing, Communication & Community Outreach Intern at Hillman Center for Performing Arts.

Laura worked as a Freelance Designer & Copywriter at Longshots Billiards from 2009 to 2010. Laura then served as a Marketing Coordinator at Double Eagle Promotions in 2010.

From 2011 to 2012, Laura worked at NACS as a Marketing Coordinator. In this role, they were responsible for writing, designing, and developing marketing collateral. Laura also ensured the flawless execution of strategic marketing plans and worked closely with various departments to track and improve marketing processes.

Laura then joined the Association of Corporate Travel Executives in 2012 as the Manager of Global Marketing & Communications. Laura held this position until 2013.

Returning to NACS in 2013, Laura held various marketing positions, including Marketing Specialist, Marketing Manager, and currently, Marketing Director.

Laura Beck completed their undergraduate education at West Virginia University from 2004 to 2008, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations. Laura then pursued further education at the same university and obtained a Master of Science degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from 2008 to 2010.

In 2018, Laura also completed the Life Styles Inventory Item Level Feedback Accreditation Program, offered by Human Synergistics.

More recently, Laura enrolled in the NACS Marketing Leadership Program at the Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in 2020. The program is still ongoing, and there is no specified end year provided for their education at Northwestern University.
