Haitham K.

Haitham K. has an extensive work experience in the legal and compliance field. Haitham currently holds the role of Founding partner, BOD member & General secretary at the Egyptian Compliance Society since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Legal & Compliance at NAEEM Holding for Investment starting from June 2021.

Haitham has also served as the Head of Investor Relations at Recap financial investments since June 2021. Haitham worked as the Head of legal for Capital market & Investment banking at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank - Egypt from March 2021 to June 2021.

Before that, Haitham held the position of Head Of Compliance & MLRO at Naeem financial investments from April 2020 to March 2021. Haitham previously worked as the Head Of Legal Affairs at NAEEM Holding for Investment and the Head Of Investor Relations at Recap financial investments from February 2018 to March 2021.

Haitham's earlier experience includes roles such as Senior compliance and A M L officer at Acumen Holding from May 2017 to February 2018, and Senior Compliance & A M L officer at NBK Capital from August 2016 to April 2017. Haitham also worked as a Risk Manager and Senior Compliance & A M L Officer at Mubasher International for securities from July 2015 to August 2016.

Haitham K. completed their Bachelor of Law degree from Cairo University in the field of law, and this took place from 2003 to 2007. Haitham then pursued further education by enrolling in the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, where they obtained their Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Commercial Law from 2021 to 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Haitham K. has achieved various certifications. These include becoming a Certified Board Secretary from the Hawkamah Institute for Corporate Governance in October 2020. Haitham also obtained the certification of an Electronic Establishing Representative from GAFI in October 2019.

Furthermore, Haitham K. holds several licenses related to their profession. Haitham acquired the license of Compliance and A.M.L Manager for Asset Management from the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority in January 2017. In August 2015, they obtained the Risk Manager License from the same institution. Additionally, they hold the Compliance and A.M.L Manager for Securities license since May 2015. Previously, they obtained the Operations Manager License in October 2011 and the Branch Manager License in January 2011, both from the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority. Lastly, Haitham K. became a Securities Broker and obtained this certification from the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) in July 2009.
