Ayanwande O. Ayangbenga

Mr. Gbenga Ayanwande attended Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and graduated in 1989 with a Second Class Upper Division (Honours) in Economics. He also bagged a Master Degree in Financial Economics from University of Abuja.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.

He was an Investment Officer with Ogun State Industrial and Finance Corporation, Sagamu from where he moved to Ojike Okechukwu & Co (Chartered Accountants) and later Abiodun Oloke & Co for his accounting training and practical experience. He spent about 7 years in the audit firms and acted in various capacities. He left as an Audit Manager in 1997.

He started his career in the Public Sector as a Principal Accountant in Federal Urban Mass Transit Agency (FUMTA) in 1997 until 2002 when he transferred his service to National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) as an Assistant Chief Accountant. He rose through the rank and file and he is now a Director Finance and Accounts in NAFDAC.

Ayanwande A. Olusegun has attended many trainings, seminars and workshops to enhance his productivity and efficiency at work including a one-month training on Policy Strategy and Leadership Course in National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Jos in 2016

He is experienced in the accounting systems of both the Private and the Public Sectors.

Some of the awards to his credit include those from Arewa Youth Council of Nigeria (Icon of Nation Building), African Leadership Strategy & Transparency Development Initiative (Certificate of Performance) and Leadership Award by NAFDAC Corps Members Association (NACOMA) among others.

He is married to late Esther Adewumi Ayanwande and he is blessed with children.
