Olumuyiwa Tunde Sigbeku

Olumuyiwa Tunde Sigbeku is an accomplished professional in the field of food and drug regulation, currently serving as Deputy Director and Head of the Food and Chemical Laboratory Directorate at the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) since March 2024. With a career at NAFDAC beginning in January 2000, Olumuyiwa has held various positions, including Head of the Animal Feed and Premix Division, where responsibilities included the supervision of animal feed regulations and import controls. Olumuyiwa’s educational background includes a Ph.D. in Animal Sciences from the University of Ibadan and participation in the Fellowship Program at Mississippi State University. Additional qualifications include a certificate in Food Management from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Master of Science in Animal Science, also from the University of Ibadan.
