Peter Bartholomew

Peter Bartholomew is a Technical Fellow at NAFEMS and has an extensive background in the aviation and aerospace industry. They serve as the Director at MDAO Technologies, specializing in research assessment, dynamics, and design optimization since 2008. Peter has contributed significantly as a member of the Aircraft Structures Committee at ESDU since 1980 and previously held the position of Senior Fellow at QinetiQ, leading multidisciplinary design optimization research. They were also a Senior Principal Scientific Officer at the Royal Aircraft Establishment, where they advanced computational structural mechanics and structural optimization techniques. Peter is currently pursuing an MSc in Applied Mathematics at the University of Leicester and a DPhil in Astronomy at the University of Sussex.
