Heather Stewart

Heather Stewart is an accomplished professional in the field of immigration policy, currently serving as Counsel and Director of Immigration Policy at NAFSA: Association of International Educators since October 2003. Prior experience includes the role of Government Relations Counsel at the American Council on International Personnel from January 2001 to October 2003, and as Liaison Associate at the American Immigration Lawyers Association from September 1997 to December 2000. Heather holds a Juris Doctor degree with a Certificate in International Legal Studies from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English, with a minor in Philosophy from Mercer University.
