Jill Allen Murray

Jill Allen Murray has extensive experience in public policy and legislative strategy, currently serving as the Deputy Executive Director for Public Policy at NAFSA: Association of International Educators since May 2018, following a role as Senior Director in the same area. Prior to this, Jill Allen Murray operated a consulting firm from September 2017 to April 2018 and held significant positions at The Sheridan Group, including Managing Director and Director of Policy & Advocacy, from March 2011 to August 2017. Additional experience includes serving as Chief of Staff and Deputy Chief of Staff for Congressman Daniel B. Maffei, Policy Director and Legislative Assistant for Congressman Russ Carnahan, and Field Organizer for John Edwards' presidential campaign. Jill Allen Murray began a political career as a Political Assistant at NARAL Pro-Choice America from 2000 to 2002. Academic qualifications include a Master of Public Administration in Public Policy from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Art from Colgate University.
