Carlos Fernandez

Carlos Fernandez is an accomplished professional in the field of telecommunications and digital media, currently serving as the Director of Video Analytics at NAGRA's Digital TV Product Unit since February 2016. In this role, Carlos focuses on collecting and analyzing analytics from video streaming sessions to enhance user experience for OTT providers. Prior to this position, Carlos held various significant roles at NAGRA, including Director of the System Architecture Team and Principal System Architect. Carlos also gained extensive experience at Alcatel-Lucent as a System Architect and Multimedia System Architect, where contributions included developing carrier-grade IPTV and OTT solutions. Carlos's educational background includes an Executive MBA from Escuela de Organización Industrial and a Master's degree in Telecommunications Economics from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia, complemented by a BE in Telecommunications from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
