Ivan Briones

Ivan Briones has a diverse work experience. Ivan currently serves as the Director of Communications for the NAHJ (National Association of Hispanic Journalists) since 2023. Before that, they worked as the City Editor for SATXtoday at 6AM City, a newsletter-first local media company, from 2021 to 2023. In 2020, Ivan worked as a Visual and Audio Media Producer for Hearts Need Art. Ivan began their career as a Work Study Student at St. Mary's University, where they worked in various roles within the Music Department from 2017 to 2019.

Ivan Briones obtained a degree in Communication Studies from St. Mary's University between the years 2017 and 2021. During their time at the university, they specialized in the field of Communication and Media Studies.
