Peter Linneman has had an extensive and varied career in the real estate industry. Peter began in 1978 as Principal of Linneman Associates, a leading strategic and investment advisory firm. In 2005, they founded American Land Fund, a private real estate equity firm focused on acquiring and developing land assets. In 2006, they took on the role of Chief Economist at NAI Global. In 2010, they became CEO of KL Realty Fund, a private real estate investment firm. Additionally, they served as the Albert Sussman Emeritus Professor of Real Estate at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, from 1979 to 2011.
Peter Linneman attended Ashland University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree, although the specific field of study is unknown. Peter then went on to pursue further education at the University of Chicago, where they earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Economics. Afterward, they continued their studies at the University of Chicago and successfully completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics in 1977.
