Andy Guthrie has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and maintenance. Andy started their career in the US Navy as an Electricians Mate Third Class. After serving in the Navy, they worked as a Crew Leader at Power Shop. Andy then gained experience as an Electrician/Plumber at Fisher Scientific Furniture in schools and laboratories. After that, they worked at National as a Sub. Andy then joined Continental Centre, where they served in multiple roles including Lead Service Technician, Lead HVAC Technician, and Chief Engineer. Andy continued their career as a Chief Engineer / Engineering Consultant at Continental Real Estate. Later, they worked at Motorists Insurance Group as a Senior Stationary Engineer, and later at CB Richard Ellis as a Facilities Maintenance Director. Currently, they are the Chief Engineer at NAI Ohio Equities, where they manage maintenance staff, contractors, vendors, and oversees property operations.
Andy Guthrie attended Geneva High School from 1978 to 1981 and received a diploma. Then, from 1981 to 1982, they enrolled in the United States Naval Training Command, where they pursued Electricians Mate 'A' School and obtained a degree. In 1996, they completed the EPA Universal Certification program at Ferris State in Columbus, Ohio. In 1997, Andy briefly attended the Southwest Career Center but did not obtain a degree or specialize in any specific field of study.
