Esmat Naikyar

Esmat Naikyar has had a varied work experience, beginning in 2013 as a Project Coordinator (Co-op) for PCL Construction. In 2014, they worked as a Research Assistant (Co-op) for the University of Alberta. In 2015, they returned to Coanda Research & Development as a Research Assistant/Co-op Student. In 2016, they were promoted to Research Engineer, where they worked on optimization of separation processes and conducted engineering research for Suncor's Tailings Reduction Operations (TRO) and Permanent Aquatic Storage Solution (PASS) program. In 2018, they founded Naik AR Corp., an early stage start-up working to enhance consumer and product interactions online by utilizing AR, XR, AI-based and 3D modelling technologies. Esmat also worked as a Project Coordinator for Bird Construction that same year. Finally, in 2020, they became the CEO & Co-Founder of Naiad Lab Inc., a technology company specializing in AI, Machine Learning (ML), and Deep Learning (DL) for healthcare needs.

Esmat Naikyar obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta between 2011 and 2016.
