Alana Laflore

Alana LaFlore is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in media and public relations. Currently serving as Communications Manager and previously as Senior Communications Specialist at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), Alana focuses on consumer outreach education, collaboration with state Public Information Officers, and media relations efforts. Alana's earlier roles include reporting for WDAF-TV, WTVC-TV NewsChannel9, and Time Warner Cable News, where responsibilities encompassed storytelling, content creation, and audience engagement across multiple platforms. Alana holds a Master of Science in Broadcast and Digital Journalism from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Marist College.
