Alexander Swindle

Senior Advisor, Financial Services Policy

Alexander Swindle is a Senior Advisor for Financial Services Policy at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, a role they have held since 2023. From 2020 to 2023, they served as a Senior Legislative Analyst in the U.S. House of Representatives, and previously, they were a Legislative Analyst. Alexander's early career included positions as a Fellow at Michigan State University's Institute for Public Policy and Social Research and as a research assistant in the Department of Political Science. They also gained experience as a legislative intern for both the Michigan House of Representatives and the United States Senate, as well as a Federal Advocacy Intern at the National League of Cities. Currently, Alexander is pursuing a Master of Arts in Global Policy at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
