Andrew Beal

Andrew Beal has a diverse work experience in the insurance and legal industry. Andrew served as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Legal Officer for the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) starting from 1999. Andrew also held roles such as Acting Chief Executive Officer, Deputy Executive Vice President, and General Counsel at NAIC during their tenure from 1999 to 2009. Before joining NAIC, they worked as the General Counsel for Mid-Continent Life Insurance Company from 1992 to 1997. Prior to their career in the insurance industry, Andrew Beal served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve as a Judge Advocate with the rank of Major from 1985 to 1988.

Andrew Beal has a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from the Oklahoma City University School of Law. Andrew also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government/History from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
