Louis de Kock

Louis de Kock is a seasoned entrepreneur and manager with extensive experience in both startup and corporate environments. Currently serving as the Founder of Nile.ag since November 2020, Louis aims to enhance market access for Africa’s producers by integrating regional food systems. Prior to this, Louis held senior management roles at Amazon from February 2018 to September 2020, overseeing various categories including Amazon Go and Amazon Fresh. Additional experience includes a project management role at Jumia Group and significant positions in private equity and financial management at Investec from January 2014 to September 2016. Louis also founded Innovative Vending while studying at the University of Stellenbosch, growing it into the largest supplier of automated retail services in its regions. Louis holds an MBA from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and a BAccounting with honors from Stellenbosch University.
