Ritesh Ambastha has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Ritesh is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at NAILBITER, where they contribute to market research, data analytics, and product development. Prior to joining NAILBITER, they worked as the Head of Engineering at Taaraka from November 2017 to June 2020.

From 2015 to 2017, Ritesh served as the Chief Technology Officer at NAILBITER, where they led technology teams in building a video data analytics company. Ritesh played a crucial role in taking the company to a multi-million dollar revenue by delivering various SaaS products and mobile platforms for video-based market research and analytics. Ritesh also launched video survey apps in global markets. During this time, they also served as the Vice President of Engineering at NAILBITER, overseeing the unique platform that allows CPG manufacturers to gain consumer insights and make data-driven decisions.

Before joining NAILBITER, Ritesh founded and served as the CEO of iWillStudy.com, an educational startup aimed at bridging the gap between industry and academics. Ritesh mentored and trained over 18,000 students and organized more than 300 workshops across different regions of India.

Prior to their entrepreneurial journey, Ritesh worked as the Deputy Manager of Technology - Maps Development at Reliance Big Entertainment from March 2008 to February 2010. Ritesh managed a team of over 100 GIS data engineers and developed an open-source mapping engine integrated with the local search engine.

In 2007, Ritesh worked as a Project Manager at Mobiance Technology, an IIT Bombay incubated startup. Ritesh played a critical role in developing a mapping platform and coordinating with GIS data vendors to provide solutions to clients.

Ritesh started their career as a Research Assistant at IIT Bombay in 2006, where they assisted in building the smart mapping project called SMAPS. Ritesh developed intelligent algorithms and a platform for GIS operations.

In early 2006, Ritesh worked as a Project Trainee at Powai Labs Pvt Ltd, where they gained exposure to chip design verification and developed a cross-platform desktop-based user interface.

Ritesh's extensive work experience showcases their expertise in technology leadership, entrepreneurship, market research, and GIS operations.

Ritesh Ambastha began their education journey at Kendriya Vidyalaya from 2000 to 2002, where they earned their SSE degree in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. Afterward, from 2002 to 2006, they attended Saurashtra University in Rajkot, achieving a B.Tech degree in Computer Science.

In 2006, Ritesh Ambastha furthered their education by becoming a Research Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay. This experience allowed him to delve deeper into the field of Computer Science.

In terms of additional certifications, Ritesh Ambastha obtained a certificate for Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies from UC Berkeley through edX in May 2021. Ritesh also completed a course in Digital Transformations from the Indian School of Business through Coursera in September 2017. Furthermore, they earned a certificate in Data Science, specifically Data to Insights, from MIT Professional Education in February 2017. Finally, Ritesh Ambastha acquired an Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2020.
