Alex Davis is a co-founder of Naima Health, a role undertaken since January 2018. Concurrently, Alex has served as an associate professor and research scientist at Carnegie Mellon University since October 2012, focusing on mixed methods research related to energy efficiency investment decision-making and educational program evaluation, utilizing randomized controlled trials and theories from social psychology and behavioral economics. Alex's experience includes a post-doctoral fellowship at Carnegie Mellon’s Department of Engineering and Public Policy, researching energy and climate decision-making, and a previous role as a data analyst at Farsite, where sales forecasting models were developed for commercial clients. Alex holds a PhD in Behavioral Decision Research from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS in Psychology from Northern Arizona University.
