Mike Riopel

Mike Riopel serves as the Assistant General Counsel for Real Estate Investments at Northwestern Mutual, managing a substantial real estate investment portfolio valued at approximately $60 billion. Riopel also holds leadership roles in several organizations, including Chair of the Advisory Board at the Marquette University Vieth Institute for Real Estate Leadership, Chair of the NAIOP Research Foundation's Industry Trends Meeting, and Director on the Board of Directors for the Marquette Business Alumni Association. Additionally, Riopel's experience encompasses roles at Husch Blackwell and Wangard Partners, where expertise in real estate finance, capital markets, and transactions was demonstrated. Riopel's educational background includes degrees in Business Administration and Law from Marquette University and additional studies at the University of Minnesota.
