Thomas J. Bisacquino

Director at NAIOP

Since 1991, Thomas J. Bisacquino has served as the association's President and CEO. He is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of the association, headquartered in Northern Virginia. Mr. Bisacquino directs NAIOP’s legislative activities on behalf of its membership in the federal, state, provincial and local arenas. Under his guidance and leadership, the headquarters staff is responsible for serving more than 20,000 members who are the developers, investors, and owners of industrial, office, retail, and multi-family properties throughout North America.

Mr. Bisacquino joined the association in 1988 as NAIOP's senior vice president and served as NAIOP’s chief operations officer. Prior to joining NAIOP, Mr. Bisacquino was the assistant executive director for the Association for Systems Management (ASM) in Cleveland, Ohio.

Raised in Westchester County, New York, Mr. Bisacquino earned both a B.S. and M.A. from the State University of New York. He is an active member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), and serves as a national board member of REAP, the Real Estate Associate Program, a non-profit association dedicated to training minorities for careers in commercial real estate.
