Karanja Gatiba has extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as Headteacher at Nairobi Academy since August 2016. Previously, Karanja held the position of Director of Teaching and Learning at MPesa Foundation Academy for a brief period from December 2015 to August 2016, focusing on transforming lives and helping children overcome global barriers. Prior experience includes serving as Deputy Headteacher for Academic and Pastoral at Braeside High School from September 2011 to December 2015, where quality instructional leadership was emphasized, and a strong school ethos was maintained. Karanja also contributed to Braeburn Schools from September 2004 to December 2015 as a teacher of various subjects, including IGCSE Mathematics and Economics, and held positions such as Examinations Officer and Head of Humanities Department. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in International Studies from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Education degree from Maseno University.
