Scott Zuffelato

Vice President Of Philanthropy at Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame

Scott Zuffelato has extensive work experience in the field of sports marketing and fundraising. Scott started their career as a Graduate Student at the University of Massachusetts in 1986 and later worked as an Assistant Director of Marketing and Promotions at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas from 1988 to 1990. Scott then joined The University of Connecticut Athletic Department as an Assistant AD for Marketing and Corporate Sales from 1990 to 1998. In 1998, they became the General Manager at Host Communications.

Scott's most recent role was with the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, where they held various positions. From 1999 to 2015, they served as the Vice President of Marketing Partnerships and Development, overseeing external fundraising initiatives and leading a team responsible for selling marketing partnerships. From 2015 to 2018, they held the role of Vice President of Philanthropy / Capital Campaign, and from 2019 onwards, they have been serving as the Vice President of Philanthropy.

Throughout their career, Scott has demonstrated expertise in fundraising, marketing partnerships, and development in the sports industry.

Scott Zuffelato obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a focus on pre-med from West Virginia Wesleyan College between 1980 and 1984. Scott then pursued a Master of Science in Sports Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1986 to 1987.
