David Akiyoshi

David Akiyoshi is an accomplished winemaker with extensive experience in the wine industry. Currently serving as a winemaker at LangeTwins Winery since July 2005, Akiyoshi emphasizes the importance of family-owned operations in the winemaking process. Additionally, Akiyoshi works with Naked Wines to create a unique series of wines that reflect the heritage of California's Lodi region, sourced from fifth-generation farming families. Previous experience includes a role as winemaker at Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi from 1981 to 2005, and serving as Director of Winemaking at the Robert Mondavi Corporation from 1995 to 2004. Akiyoshi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Enology from the University of California, Davis, earned between 1977 and 1981.
