Lin Liang has extensive work experience in taxation, financial reporting, and management accounting. Lin started their career as a Tax Assistant at EY, where they provided audit services, tax consultation, and financial forecasting for clients. Lin then worked at Sharp Electronics Malaysia as an Assistant Manager, specializing in taxation, transfer pricing, and tax planning. In this role, they successfully delivered a double tax deduction incentive for R&D organizations. Lin then joined Intel Corporation as a Manager, leading the implementation of SAP Fixed Asset module and managing fixed assets for more than 100 legal entities. Lin later joined AMD as a Manager, where they played a key role in the merger and acquisition of ATI and led the transition of financial accounting to the Malaysia Shared Service Center. Currently, Lin is an Associate Director at Nakheel, where they have set up and implemented an indirect tax structure for various business entities and provides tax planning and advisory services for commercial structures and acquisitions.
Lin Liang completed a BA in Accounting and Finance at Heriot-Watt University from 1991 to 1994. Later, from 1994 to 1997, Lin pursued the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) degree in Accounting and Finance.
