Capt Anup Singh has a diverse and extensive work experience in the maritime industry. Capt Anup started their career as a Master at Teekay Shipping in 2001 and worked in that role until 2009. Following that, they joined Teekay Shipping as a Competence and Leadership Development Manager, where they established and ran a global Future Leaders program. In 2012, Capt Anup Singh became a Vessel Manager at Teekay Shipping Glasgow, responsible for the operational and technical management of 6 LNG vessels. In 2016, they joined INTERTANKO as a Senior Manager - Gas, where they focused on developing gas expertise within the association and addressing key issues impacting members in the LNG and LPG sectors. Since 2018, Capt Anup Singh has been associated with NAKILAT, first as a Joint Venture Superintendent for LNG vessels and then as the Head of Operations - Fleet. In these roles, they ensured safe and efficient handling of cargo and worked as a focal point of contact between multiple stakeholders.

Captain Anup Singh completed their education at Middlesex University from 2011 to 2013, where they earned an MBA in Shipping and Finance. Prior to that, from 1989 to 1995, they attended the Australian Maritime College, acquiring a Diploma in Applied Science Shipmaster with a focus on Nautical Science.
