Saleh Bahrololoum

VP, Marketing & Business Development at Nakisa

Saleh Bahrololoum is the current VP of Marketing at Nakisa. Prior to Nakisa, Saleh was the co-founder and CEO of Zazz Mobility from November 2015 to March 2018. Zazz was created as a result of a year-long study of the ride-sharing industry and talking to people to understand their ideal long-distance ridesharing journey. The team of 9 people that worked on Zazz won 1st place in the NSERC Startup Competition - $8,000 (2015) and 2nd place in the NSERC-NCFRN Startup Competition - $8,000 (2016). Zazz was also a semi-finalist of the McGill Dobson Cup (2016).

Before Zazz, Saleh was the founder and CEO of Clée Fashion from January 2015 to May 2015. Clée Fashion was created with the goal of being the first fashion house to specialise in creating limited edition, made-to-order leather goods at a reasonable price. The idea for Clée Fashion came from the change in luxury shopping trends in the Middle East region, where top world-wide known luxury bag houses were no longer seen as exclusive products. As the founder and CEO, Saleh was responsible for all aspects of market valuation and study, funding, sourcing products, sales, and marketing strategy setup. Clée Fashion paused its activity in June 2015 due to personal reasons.

Saleh Bahrololoum received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University with a dual concentration in strategy and marketing. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the American University of Sharjah. Saleh's high school education was split between Al Mawakeb in Dubai and Alame Tabatabayi in Tehran.

Saleh Bahrololoum reports to Babak Varjavandi, President & CEO. They are on a team with Tara Varjavandi - Special Advisor, Faraz Ahmed - Chief Technology Officer, and Denis Bastien - CFO.
