Jan Meiling

Jan Meiling is an experienced leader in the fields of innovation and business development, currently serving as the Director at Naktuinbouw, where the focus is on advancing identity research and quality inspection in the plant-breeding and horticulture industry. Previously, Jan co-founded and directed F&A Next, fostering connections between startups, scaleups, and investors. As Managing Director at StartLife, oversight was provided for various programs designed to support entrepreneurship in agricultural innovations. Jan's earlier roles included Innovation Manager and Technology Transfer Manager at Wageningen UR, along with significant positions at DSM Food Specialties and TNO Quality of Life. Jan holds a Master's degree in Biology from Utrecht University and has furthered education through IMD and DSM Business Academy programs.
