Maria J. Bustle is a Certified Paralegal Specialist currently serving in the Office of the General Counsel for the Florida Department of Corrections since December 2022. In addition, Maria operates Diverse Mediation Resources, LLC as a Registered Mediator, providing contract legal services in the Southern Judicial Circuit since 2018. A member of NALA - The Paralegal Association since 2003, Maria advocates for the rights of abused and neglected children as a certified paralegal and child advocate. Previous positions include Senior Paralegal at the Florida Office of the Attorney General focusing on Medicaid fraud and a Family Support Program & Advocacy Coordinator at Family Enrichment Group, Inc. Maria holds multiple degrees, including a Master’s in Law Enforcement Intelligence and a Master’s in Criminology & Victimology from Florida State University, as well as a Bachelor’s in Pre-Law Studies and an Associate of Science in Pre-Law Studies.
