Jianjun Liu

Co-Founder at Nalagenetics

Jianjun Liu is a Chinese national who is currently a co-founder at Nalagenetics. Jianjun was previously the Deputy Director at Genome Institute of Singapore from January 2012 to January 2016. From January 2007 to January 2010, they were the group leader at the same institute. Jianjun Liu was also a senior research scientist at the institute from January 2002 to December 2006. Jianjun has also been an adjunct professor at NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Saw Swee Hock School Of Public Health from January 2016 to January 2018 and January 2013 to January 2018 respectively. Dean and Professor at Anhui Medical University from January 2010 to January 2016. Research Scientist at Columbia Genome Center from January 2000 to January 2002 and Research Scientist in Molecular Genetics at Columbia University Department of Psychiatry and New York State Psychiatric Institute from January 1998 to January 2000.

Dr. Jianjun Liu received their PhD in Quantitative Genetics from Duke University. Jianjun then completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Psychiatric Genetics at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Liu also holds a Master of Science in Marine Biology from the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IOCAS), Qingdao, PR China, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Science & Technology of China, Hefei, PR China.
