Jerry Salan

Jerry Salan has a diverse work experience in the field of chemical engineering. Jerry started their career at Resource Management Concepts, Inc. as a Chemical Engineer from 1996 to 1998. Jerry then moved on to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division, where they worked as a Senior Scientist for nearly a decade. At Indian Head, they managed personnel and oversaw chemical processes, notably leading a team in the production of propylene glycol dinitrate. From 2007 to 2010, Jerry worked at Pfizer as a Chemical Engineer, collaborating with various departments to develop low-cost processes for APIs and their precursors. Currently, Jerry serves as the CEO of Nalas Engineering Services, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in chemical process development. Nalas focuses on utilizing in-situ tools and novel technologies to develop safe and cost-effective manufacturing processes, including scalable materials.

Jerry Salan earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland in 1996. Jerry then pursued a Master's degree in Engineering from the same university, completing it in 2002. Prior to their university education, Jerry attended Thomas Stone High School from 1986 to 1990, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned for this period.
