Embedded SW Engineer at NALYS

Alejandro Salamanca González has a diverse work experience in engineering and software quality assurance. In 2014, they interned at GDS Modellica, where they performed software quality assurance for a Credit Decision Engine used by major lenders. Alejandro executed test plans, checked results, and reported discrepancies to the development group. From February 2016 to October 2016, they worked as an Electronic Components Engineer at Arghos, specifically for Airbus Defence & Space (CRISA). In this role, they supported electronic components for space projects such as PROBA-3 IEU and Astrosat 400 RIU. From October 2016 to February 2021, they were an EEE Equipment Support Engineer at CRISA (an Airbus Defence and Space company). Alejandro reviewed, validated, and supported electronic components for various Space projects and was part of the core team for multiple projects. Since November 2022, they have been working at Nalys as an Embedded SW Engineer. Alejandro is involved in the design and implementation of embedded software for the Themis Thrust Vector Actuator System (TVAS) project. This project aims to demonstrate reusable rocket technology for the European Space Agency. Alejandro'sresponsibilities include designing and implementing software for the control loop of electro-mechanical actuators using Simulink and assembly code.

Alejandro Salamanca González has a comprehensive education history focused on engineering and digital systems. Alejandro obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Digital Systems Engineering from the University of York from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Autonomous Vehicles Dynamics and Control at Cranfield University from 2014 to 2015.

Additionally, Alejandro holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, which they completed from 2009 to 2015. Alejandro'sfield of study was Control and Electronics Engineering.

In terms of certifications, Alejandro obtained the certificate "6.002.1x: Circuits and Electronics 1: Basic Circuit Analysis" from MITx on edX (Massachusetts Institute of Technology through edX) in February 2019. Alejandro also achieved the "Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE)" certification from Cambridge English Language Assessment in December 2015.
