Hein Dek

Hein Dek is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in corporate relations and media strategy. Currently serving as Team Lead Corporate Relations and Corporate Media Lead at NAM BV Assen since November 2016, Dek also holds responsibilities as Media Lead for Earthquakes. Prior to this, Dek worked at Rijkswaterstaat from September 2006 to October 2016 in various roles, including Coordinator Advisor in Strategy and Head of Strategic Communication. Earlier experience includes serving as Spokesman for the Vice Minister at the Ministerie van Infrastructuur en Milieu, Press Officer for the European Union at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, and International Programme Officer at VVD. Dek holds a Master’s degree in Political History from the University of Groningen, completed in 2001.
