Sameer Sawant has over 25 years of experience in the agricultural industry. Sameer began their career at Indo American Hybrid Seeds as an Assistant Manager Marketing, where they managed marketing activities for vegetable seeds in the state of Maharashtra. Sameer then joined Clause Vegetable seeds as a Product Development Manager, responsible for leading the product development team and mapping product development operations in India and neighboring countries. After that, they joined East West Seed India as a Product Development Manager, focusing on the development of vegetable hybrids. Sameer then moved to Namdhari Seeds Pvt.ltd, where they held the position of General Manager (International operations). Currently, they are serving as the President of Business Development and Strategy at Namdhari Seeds Private Limited (NSPL).
Sameer Sawant received a Master of Science (MSc)Agri degree in Agriculture, General from Doctor Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, where they studied from 1989 to 1995.
