Russell S. Mufaya

Russell S. Mufaya is an experienced Human Resources professional currently serving as the General Manager of Human Resources at NAMFISA since June 2017, focusing on the management of human capital. Prior to this role, Russell held the position of Chief Human Resources Officer at NAMPA for a brief period in early 2017, overseeing various aspects of human capital management, employee relations, and performance management. From December 2008 to November 2016, Russell was the Director of Human Resources and Administration at the SADC Secretariat, where responsibilities included human capital management, conference services, and records management. Russell's earlier experience includes serving as Corporate Human Resources Manager at Telecom Namibia, where duties involved aligning HR strategy with company goals, and as a Senior Officer for Training & Development and Recruitment & Selection at the Bank of Namibia, managing training strategies and recruitment processes.
