Abigail Jeong

Abigail Jeong is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Lead LA Mentor in the University of Colorado Learning Assistant Program, where support is provided to new Learning Assistants in pedagogy and program engagement. In addition to mentoring roles, Abigail is a Medical Assistant at Boulder Heart and an Undergraduate Research Assistant researching transposable elements in ovarian cancer treatments at CU Boulder. Involvement with NAMI Boulder County as a volunteer focuses on mental health advocacy and community outreach. Previous experiences include a Summer Genetic Counseling Internship at AdventHealth, a Chief of Staff Intern for CU Boulder’s student government, and leadership positions as President of both the Technical Prep Club and GirlUp. Abigail is pursuing dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology and Spanish Language and Literature at the University of Colorado Boulder.
