Jeremiah Rainville

Jeremiah Rainville is a member of the NAMI Board of Directors, elected to fill the seat from the NAMI Peer Leadership Council. He is a Peer Program Manager for NAMI Rhode Island, a Certified Peer Recover Specialist and Certified Community Health worker. He has previously served as Chair of the Peer Leadership Council, Ex-Officio and is a member of NAMI Providence.

Jeremiah started his journey with NAMI Rhode Island by going to support groups at the age of 18 and began working at NAMI Rhode Island in 2011. With NAMI, he continues to be a strong advocate for his community, which has earned him the recognition of the NAMI Inspiration Award, Eleanor Slater Hospital Award and the NAMI Ken Steele Award.

He previously worked at the Oasis Wellness & Recovery Center and at LUNA Community Care and has been certified as a SUMHLC Community Support Professional.

For the 2022-2023 Board year, Jeremiah serves on the Board Policy & Governance Committee and Research, Support & Education Committee.
