David Angress is an experienced leader in the audio and musical instrument industries, currently serving on the NAMM Board of Directors since January 2024 and as General Manager at QSC Audio since August 2022. Angress has held prominent positions including Chairman at Stray Electrons and Principal at Angress Consulting since 2011. Previously, Angress worked as Vice President and Head of Neat Microphones at Turtle Beach and advised management at ADAM Audio GmbH, where contributions led to the company’s sale to Focusrite PLC in July 2019. Other noteworthy roles include CEO of Fender Musical Instruments Corporation and Senior Vice President of Global Sales at Guitar Center, complemented by extensive experience in sales and marketing at HARMAN International and AKG Acoustics.
