Maurice "Chip" Muser IV has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Maurice "Chip" began their career in the US Navy in 1992, where they served in various roles such as Sailor, Assistant Air Operations Officer, and Mission Commander-Quality Assurance Officer-Instructor Pilot. During this time, they demonstrated strong leadership skills and managed budgets for aircraft operations. In 2010, Maurice joined the NATO Joint Warfare Centre Norway as an Exercise Planner-Information Management. Here, they led a team and managed a budget for training programs and support for staff officers. In 2017, they joined Nammo Raufoss AS as a Project Manager and later became the Assistant Director for Health, Environment, Safety & Security. Currently, Maurice is with Nammo AS as the Director for Health, Environment, Safety & Security, where they advise the CEO and oversees compliance with relevant rules and regulations across multiple production sites.

Maurice "Chip" Muser IV pursued their education in a variety of fields. In 1993, they attended Naval Nuclear Power Training where they studied Electronics Technician. Following this, from 2002 to 2004, they attended Old Dominion University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. In 2015, they continued their education at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Sustainable Manufacturing in 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Chip Muser IV has obtained several certifications. These include the GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards from the Global Reporting Initiative in September 2021, the Lean Six Sigma Executive Management Training Course, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification, and Business Improvement System from Aksena AS in November 2020, the FEX certification from KCEM AB in November 2018, and various certifications related to defense acquisition and explosive safety obtained between 2013 and 2018.
