Wiljan Cools

Wiljan Cools is a co-founder of NannyML, a company focused on monitoring AI to prevent erroneous decision-making. With a diverse background in data science, Wiljan held roles as a data scientist and managing partner at Prophecy Labs and served as the principal data scientist at Buy Way Personal Finance, where significant contributions were made to establish a new data analytics department. Wiljan achieved recognition as the winner of the Agricultural Crop Cover Classification Challenge on the CrowdANALYTIX platform and has extensive experience in various data science roles, including consultancy work and academic projects. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Applied Economic Sciences from the University of Antwerp and a Scale-up Masterclass from Vlerick Business School.
