Farhad Farzbod

Farhad Farzbod is an advisor at Nano Liquid Solutions. Farhad was previously an assistant professor of mechanical engineering at the University of Mississippi from September 2015 to May 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a hardware engineer at Google's [X] Lab, where they designed and modeled transducers for Project Glass. Before that, they were a research engineer at Idaho National Laboratory's Material Science and Engineering Department in the Energy and Environment Directorate. Farhad has also worked as a teaching assistant and lab instructor at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they were responsible for setting up experiments, grading reports, and advising students. Farhad also served as a graduate research assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology from August 2005 to October 2010.

Farhad Farzbod has a PhD in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Farhad also has an MS in electrical and computer engineering (ECE) and an MS in mathematics from Georgia Tech. Farhad has a MASc in mechanical engineering from the University of Toronto and a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Tehran.
